by Tyler_Durden in"now the works of the flesh are manifest and they are... drunken bouts, revelries, and things like these... those who practise such things will not inherit god's kingdom" (galatians 5:19-21) .

I am sure they have all figured out if they will collapse what to do with the assets. There will always be a couple of them that know how to secure the assets and turn it in to Big Money. And they a'int gonna share it with u and me.Maybe if u know some in the Top they maybe send you a postcard from Bahamas or from another nice place where they spend all the money.Maybe they LOL at you for being one of the stupid that feeds them every month.
I stopped paying them looooong time agooooooo!
Lots of $$$$$$$$$$$ Hugs to you

WHAT DID YOU HATE about being an elder, m.s.,pione
by minimus in.
i hated all the elders who thought they had to tell someone what had to be done and they themselves weren't doing it.
what about you?

As an Elder I hated almost everything that has been told already!
But mostly I hated when I had my Bookstudiegroup and I saw the Sisters trying to compit about having my attention and trying hard to be the one that i would choose as my favourite. They all tryed in different ways to flatter me. Saying nice things outside the ordinary stuff, giving me things and so on.
And I had a big group (nowdays they should be maybe 10-15 in the group) But I had 42 (if everyone showed up).But that never happend.I think we were 33 as most.
But I loved everyone equally. For me they were all worth my all attention. And it took me some time to go out in the fieldservice with everyone in the group, but I did. And some of the sisters they couldnt wait for the next time. Most of those were sisters that were living alone with a kid or 2. And I did take care 7 of them trying to be like a father for them, not only going out in the fieldservices with them but also try to do something more funny like taking them out to some amusement. (Ofcourse I didnt hate doing that,we had alot of fun and they just loved that)
But that is history now.I am out and that is probably finally

Lots of Jehovah Bashing in Here
by Perfection Seeker ini think when people leave the organization, they lump it all together- jehovah- religion, organization, etc.
i am not doubtful there is a god, but just doubtful that he used the wts to be his one & only means.
just wanted to say that.

How Common is this amongst JW's?
by stevieb1 ini found this material on a pro-jw newsletter, and i've had this personal experience myself and know many others who have also.
before i became a jw i experienced a tremendous amount of "love" from the congregation i associated with, but once baptized they leave and move on to the next potential convert.
as a single person, i was never invited out to gatherings very much and always felt a little left out in the very clique-ish congregation that i attended.

to scream or not to scream
by Incense_and_Peppermints injw women have a greater need than jw men to stay ever vigilant and attentive of the watchtower's back and forth rules and regulations which they have the nerve to teach is "new light" from god.
depending on the "new light" from the governing body, if she doesn't scream during a rape, she will be charged by the elders as an adulteress ... someone who may have actually 'enjoyed' the violent act because of her silence.
if another jw woman was raped in 1969 and she didn't scream, she would not be disfellowshipped.
